Thank you all for your thoughts and comments and encouraging words. It really does help to hear that synthroid has helped some. I am looking and hoping and praying that this will be the one that this one will do the trick.
I am hoping that synthroid is not as harsh on the adrenals as well.
Again, thanks so much............Peggy
I also have many side effects on Armour. Not intending to get on Synthyroid, if I don't have to. There's another natural thyroid extract called 'WesThyroid'.....I'm wainting to try on.
Like someone said, each one of us is differnt. A dear friend uses Synthyroid and her thyroid is under control.
Trial and Error.....the only thing we can do, Make sense?

I'm on 150 mcg of Synthroid and I feel fine. Took 100 mcg of Levoxyl for many years but after my thyroidectomy when I started back on the Levoxyl I just didn't feel right so I asked to change to Synthroid and I've felt fine.
I just hope this is what works for you - no matter what!!
I pray this is what will finally help you.
Good Luck GF
Hi. Well I'm taking Levothyroxine and I don't think that is exactly the same but, I hope it will help you with getting some rest. Take care.
Same for me - have been on .125 synthroid for over 2 years now since TT for Graves in May 2006. One small adjustment in dosage from .112 to .125 (my endo rolled his eyes when he found out that was the dose the surgeon put me on!). Have been rock solid with my levels since the new dosage and feel really good. Better than I have for years, in fact, for I truly was not well when I was hyper.
thanks guys...
Anybody else?
I am living testimony that I feel better on than off Synthroid!!!! My normal TSH with no meds was 2.8 with symptoms and told "normal" for yrs then I ended up on it after surgery for nodules and guess what 3/4's of the symtpoms are Gone with my new TSH at 1.8 which is comfy cozy perfect for me!!!

I've been on it for over 20 years and do just fine and a dose of .175 for almost 5 years which is a fairly hefty dose, The only health issues I'm starting to have is my good cholesteral is not so good anymore and my glucose is rising. My doctor says that those are directly related to my thyroid issues. I'm working with a nutritionist to see if I can't bring those two things back into a better range and drop the 25 pounds that have crept on over the 20 or so years to also help get everything picture perfect on my labs.. Everyone is different and I try not to get to psycho about everything I read and just listen to my body.
