Hi,

It sounds as if you are becoming overwhelmed with all your syptoms. I know this is easy to say and hard to do but try to relax, and do some deep breathing exercises.

Did your dr tell you what your TSH is? The new levels are 0.1-2.0. Anything over is considered hypothyroid. If it is within this range, you might want to consider taking something for anxiety. If you do not want to take any meds, something that works good and is free is walking for exercise.

thank you for all your help and suggestion... follow up: blood test. negative for prg. ( is this 100% sure not that I am not preg.  THS neg, should I still ask for thyroid ultrasound? as far as depression i am just ignoring and fighting the "bad" thoughts" my hubby and family are trying very hard including me i will find herbs to help me with this part instead. now as far as the other symptoms i am very  very baffled. has anyone here had these symptoms?  I also have my apt with a DO on monday but she is also my worksmans comp doc.. will she be biased or confused with the reporting to my workmans comp. I need this income more than ever....

My Mother had a neck work injury for years.  She finally went to a physical therapist and it turned her life around. Insurance will usually cover it if it is recommended by a doctor. And give your doctor heck until he takes care of your needs.
And don't stay with a doctor that is not helping you.  I personally like DO's instead of an MD. They seem to think about your whole body. Sometimes it is good to just get another opinion.     Don't give up. I know it is hard.
And talk to a gyn. about the cramps.     Walk in clinics can sometimes be good. If you call the clinic and let them know what is wrong they can sometimes recommend a doctor who will work for your situation.

One of the first thing that many psychiatrists test for now when someone shows with depression is thyroid disorders.

Please talk to your doctor and have a *complete* thyroid panel run (not just TSH) and your thyroid antibodies checked.  Also request a thyroid ultrasound - thyroid nodules can cause all sorts of problems but often do not affect the hormones so aren't detected on thyroid labs.

I'm sorry for all you are going through but the thyroid is a good place to start checking when it comes to depression, hormonal imbalances (missed periods), aches, neck pain, etc.

Please keep us all posted.
