Hair loss

Dear Doctor, I am 34 year old Indian decent suffering from hypothyroidism for the past 2 years.  Six months back I had straightened my hairs with chemicals.  From that time there has been drastic hair fall (clumps of hair) on a daily basis.  Presently I am on Eltroxin (thyroid drug 100 mcg) and CCM (calcium supplement one daily).  I had zinc tablets to treat hair fall but in vain.  Please advise.
