Has anyone had any type of tongue pain?

Has anyone had soreness on the tongue when eating or drinking.   The last 2-3 weeks, I have had what we call cotton mouth, where everything is dry and my tongue feels as if it been burned.  Its hurts no matter how soft or hard the food is and matter if its water or soda that I'm drinking.

Could this be from the meds or is this side effects still coming from the RAI treatment.

Thanks for your responses.   I really appreciate it.

Does this thing ever ends?

It seems that every time I turn around something new is happening to my body.
My eyes, my mouth, swallowing, hoarseness, brain fog, memory loss, joint pain, anxiety, cold, hot, stress,  and so on.

Thanks again..
Terri

I had RAI and after that I had the burning sore tongue - I also was on Synthroid at that time so I am not sure which one caused the issue. I think it was both RAI and remaining hypothyroid.

I hate to say but I had that for over 2 yrs - then I developed acid reflux and now both are finally gone being euthyroid.

I get this a lot...I think it has to do with thyroid being hypo. I never had RAI so I can't comment on that. Looking at your list of meds though, are you sure it isn't a side effect from the combination of meds?
