Have Hypo Thyroid and Hashimoto Disease and Itchy all over my body

I have hypo thyroid and also Hashimoto's disease.  I have been so itchy the pass two weeks and it is driving me crazy and the only medicine I am on is Armour Thyroid.  I was wondering if the Armour or my thyroid condition can be the cause of what is going on with me.  It is driving me crazy and I am not sure what to do.  I am not only itchy I also have some hives on my body in a couple of places and in some spots it looks like a heat rash.  I am not sure if it is from me scratching these areas or something else.  If someone can tell me what I might be able to do or take because I can not live with this much longer.  I would like to find something that is natural to take to help this.  I am very sensative to medications and the only thyroid medication that has worked for me has been Armour.  I hope it is not the Armour that is causing this.  Thank you for your help in advance.

I have been taking Armour Thyroid for over a year and I have a rash on my legs and arms and it's spreading to my stomach.  It has been diagnosed by a Dermatologist as Psoraisis.  Now I'm wondering if this is an alergic reaction to the Armour Thyroid.

If you have seen the hives, I would assume that it might be allergy related to the armour. You could also have dry skin like the rest of us. I would go to the doctor and let them know.

I had this happen to me a few weeks ago also, but I am on levothyroxine. I can't tell you if it is thyroid related, but Hashimotos is an autoimmune disease, and so are allergies. I went to the doctor and they gave me prednisone which did not help. I also took benadryl but it seemed to do nothing but make me sleep, which was a blessing. I was even losing my voice, and felt like I had a low grade fever. The last thing I tried was a collidial oatmeal bath (Aveeno) and I found almost INSTANT relief. Try it. It can't hurt. Hope you feel better soon.
