please help me

i was told that i had two 8mm nodules on right thyroid and one on my left,they are all solid masses,and my nodes in my neck are also in larged my doctor says they cant do any thing about it until they are at least 10mm in size.is their anything i should be concerned about

i had a ct and a ultra sound,i go back to the doctor on the 28 of this month for blood test results.i see a endo doc.he is nice but i dont know if i really trust him.

i had  cat scan and a ultra sound im waiting on blood results from the doc.i go back on april28,i am very scared but trying not to worry,thank you everthing you guys have said

They could be nothing, they could be something, but until they are big enough to do a biopsy (1 cm or more), you shouldn't worry.  Even if they are something that needs to be taken out, (cancer) thyroid cancer is usually very isolated, it does not travel, so be patient, do not worry too much, just keep an eye on them.  I have three in the right, one on the left, I am undergoing a lobectomy next week.  Mine vary from 2.1 cm down to .8 cm, my biopsy was NOT diagnostic, meaning they cannot tell until they take at least the big one out and do a thorough biopsy on it.  But the odds are still in my favor, 5-15 % chance of cancer.  They are causing other problems, though, and if they weren't I probably would wait another six months and have another biopsy.  My advice?  Relax but be diligent about having a sonogram every six months and a biopsy when it is necessary, unless you are having other symptoms.

How did you find these nodules?  Please post what tests you have had.  Have you had any blood work?  What kind of doctor are you seeing?
