Help Hypothyroid and parathyroid

I have hypo since I was 17. Half of my thyroid was then removed for goiters.  At 51 I had more goiters removed and the rest of my thyroid.  In the process my parathyroid glands were rendered useless.  I ended up back in the hospital within days to regulate my calcium.   2 months later I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer.  I had radiation and am told the cancer is gone.  I now have difficulty dealing with the  lack of calcium and regulating my lack of thyroid.  I take Armour 4 60 mg tabs per day. 3 600mg calcium  tabs per day spread out with vit. D, 1 centrum silver tab per day, 1 fish oil tab per day, 2 150 mg of bupropeon, 1Vit D every other day Mon, Wed and Fri. and 4 non stimulant stool softners per day.  My question is how and what time of day caI take all of these pills so they are most effective.  And I still feel tingles in my body which indicates I am not getting enough calcium.  I also have gained 25 pounds this year and wand to take it off Help.

Thank you thank you thank you.  This sounds so great>  I have just been overwelmed in just trying to get them in each day that I know I haven't  been doing it the right way.  This plan sounds great.  At least it is a schedule I can remember and get the most benefit  from these pills and supplements.  Let me ask you have you heard about maca?  I just heard of other thyroid patients taking it.  However I am concerned about taking anything without lots of info.   Again thank you for your input.  I will try this and see if it helps

Welcome.  When was your most recent surgery?

Do you know what your calcium level is at the moment?  Maybe the amount of calcium you’re currently taking isn’t enough.

Thyroid med and calcium needs to be separated by 4 hours to work effectively.  You might want to think about how you’re timing the taking of everything.  Are you taking all 4 of your Armour tabs at once or spreading them out?  If you’re spreading them out… Because you need so much calcium you might want to take them all at once, perhaps first thing in the morning.  That way you can get the necessary four hours in between and not have to think about timing the rest of the day.

Most importantly don't take anything at least 1 hour after your Armour tablets. All medications and food will interact with it and cause less absorption. Take the 1 calcium in the morning at breakfast, and the other 2 before bedtime with some food. These times are the most critical for absorption.  Night time is when we lay down calcium in the body.
The rest will need to be regulated like this for example.......
7am Armour
8am Breakfast and 1 calcium
10am morning tea and fish oil tablet, and 2 stool softeners (the fish oil will actually help with these)
12 am lunch and Centrum tablet
2pm 1 bupropeon
4pm snack and Vit D (every other day)
6pm Dinner and another bupropeon
8pm 2 stool softeners
10pm light snack and 2 calcium
Try that for a couple of weeks and if you still get tingles tell your doctor.

I have to do a similar regime..painful but I do it. I take 14 tablets a day and 2 liquids!

Generally speaking 2 hours between any of them gives you enough time through out the day , and enough time for the body to absorb.
