Finally diagnosed! but questions..

So I was finally diagnosed with mild hypothyroidism and hashimotos. This was 3 weeks after being diagnosed with celiac disease. Good times eh! Anyways my question is this. My doctor put me on 25mg Synthroid and said my anxiety could get worse. Has this been the case with anyone else? Their anxiety gets worse going on meds to help mild hypo? Thanks!

My TSH was 6.96 but my free t3, t4 were both high normal. I was positive for antibodies but I didn't get a copy of those results :( Today was my first day on synthroid and so far feel fine. Hopefully it stays that way / gets better.

What were your lab results for your thyroid? Usually anxiety comes from being hypo or hyper.....especially with hashi's. You might feel racey at first when starting thyroid meds, but that will go away within a couple of weeks. I remember feeling that racey feeling in my heart and it made me anxious....until my heart got use to beating a little faster. ( it had been in slow mode for a while with my hypo) lol
