Hi i don't take medication, I following Ray Peat's dietary suggestions, I have trouble losing weight, fatigue, joint pain, irregular menstruation, ovarian cysts, the doctor didn't test antibodies, he did not think it would be necessary, but I will like consider an other opinion, thanks
Have you been diagnosed with PCOS? That, too, causes similar symptoms as hypothyroidism. Metformin is often used to treat PCOS. Not familiar with Ray Peat's dietary suggestions; will look into it.
Yes I have PCOS, i did treatment with metformin, but my sugar is very low, with metformin treatment I had fainting, thanks darling for you response.
Have you had thyroid antibodies tested to confirm/rule out Hashimoto's?
Sometimes symptoms appear before labs indicate an issue, but just looking at your labs, I'd have to say you don't have a thyroid condition.
What symptoms do you have?
