Could I have a low Tg but positive scan?

Is that possible??  I think my Tg was <.5 when my tsh was at 47.0 on Monday.  I just worry since I have had two lymph nodes that my doc is following.

When you say positive, do you mean accurate?

Did your Tg climb from your pre-LID level?  If it climbed from <.2 (where it's supposed to stay) to <.5 then, yeah, that's indicative of a recurrence but it may not be a big one.  The TSH shows that there is tissue/cancer that needs to be addressed.

When is the WBS?

My wbs is hopefully by Tuesday, Wednesday.  I mean by positive scan, one showing cancer.  NOt very positive is it????  If the lymph nodes are cancerous, I hope it shows now and not later.  Wish me luck.

Good luck on that scan! Did you have any lymph nodes removed and tested during your TT?

I also had spread to the lymph nodes. The Rai has done its job. I was scanned on Friday and there are no new areas of uptake. They believe the lesions that they saw are the same ones from before.I didn't get to speak with the radiation oncologist but was told I would hear from him if he had any concerns.
