How do I eliminate edema I gained from Grave's disease?

In 2012, I was diagnosed with Grave's disease and prescribed Methimazole. I gained a ton of fluid over the course of 2 yrs. About 1 yr after I went into remission, I went on T3 therapy and a Mineral regimen to resolve the edema problem. I'm 4 months post therapy now and still no weight loss. BTW I was on T3 therapy for 1 yr. I'm at my wits end on figuring out what to do to move the fluid I've been carrying for 3 yrs almost. Any suggestions/thoughts!

Please post your current thyroid related test results and reference ranges shown on the lab report.  What, if any, other symptoms do you have.

So, I gather from your comment that I need to increase my Free T3 and T4 levels!!!!

Absolutely you need to increase your Free T4 and Free T3 levels.  Many of us find taht we need our Free T4 at least at mid-range, and our Free T3 in the upper end of its range, or as needed to relieve symptoms.

When were those lab tests done?

In the future you should make sure they give you a copy of your lab results.

Also, hypothyroid patients are frequently deficient in Vitamin D, B12 and ferritin, so you need to get those tested and then supplement as needed to optimize.  D should be at least 50, B12 in the upper end of its range, and ferritin should be at least 70, and some sources say 100.

I'm no longer on T3. I'm taking a broad spectrum mineral supplement and EPA fish oil, both of which I just started a couple days ago!

TSH .908, T3 2.8, T4 1.03. These are the only numbers the doctor gave me. I don't have reference ranges. I don't have any symptoms. Just the edema.

If the lab's ranges are close to those I see quite often, then your Free T3 and Free T4 results are far too low.  What is the dosage for the T3 you are taking?  What other treatments or supplements are you doing?
