Anyone else like me??

Hello to everyone! I am new here, well at least signing up! I am a 34 year ole female struggling with hypotyroidism for 14 years. I am at my wits end with this disease. I feel like I am going crazy. My tsh never gets stable for long. I knew something was wrong about six weeks ago. I went in for a tsh it was over 100. My doc bumped me up from .15 to .2. I was also diagnosed with a pituitary mass. I went and saw my endocrinologist today and he basically told me that I could die from this if they cant get my levels normal. I am so upset right now. I feel like a burden to my husband because this disease is taking over my life... I think I am rambling, but I just feel so upset about the whole thing right now. Anyone out there that can relate, I would love to hear from you!

Hi, i am sorry for your situation, i am from India the mother of yoga, i suggest you
go for  breathing exercises and do yoga asanas special for thyroid with your medicin, you can search net for that. It is very very effectiv, do it and see the difference in only a month but do it properly.

I am very sorry for your situation and trust me I know how it feels...ill give you a little background if it helps... I was having sore throats and other symptoms for a very long time.. went to dr after dr and no one found anything or even took me seriously until I had a thyroid scan done and they found a lump... had 3 biopsies done all came back negative for cancer..so the endo told me not to touch it.. he was very rude and told me I was lying about my symptoms...but my gutt told me ok maybe I should see another dr.. I met an E.N.T and he decided to remove the half... after the surgery a pathology report was done and it came back as follicular thyroid cancer... so 2 months after that I had the other half removed.. before all of this I was in good shape ... now I have gained over 60 lbs with no way to stop it.. even if I eat salad I gain weight and its so depressing... and due to all of this I am on depression meds... even since my surgeries I have no felt right.. constantly tired... dizzy..nautious and many others to add to the list... test after test.. dr after dr... my tsh level was becoming normal and then I had radiation and that set it to go all over the place and my radiation was a year and a half ago... I am going to a fairly newer endo and even though she can see im gaining weight and always tired and other things she questioned me when my tsh level was low and actually asked me if I was taking my meds right...so after her saying that... I decided to pursue another dr because she wasn't handling it properly or taking it really seriously and find a way to help me in some way.... so I found one of the biggest endo's in canada.. I actually haven't seen him yet seeing him on Monday....but similar to you.. this disease has taken over my life as well.. I can't leave the house without having gravol on me or I'm in trouble.. I can't walk around longer then 20 minutes or I get dizzy etc... so there is a point to this story and from my experience I love to let other people know... my opinion is if you know deep down in your heart something isnt right and Im pretty sure there is a way to regulate it if its done properly and taken seriously then go with your gutt and get a second opinion even a third if you have to... some patients just aren't good for some dr's and once again they definitely aren't always correct.. if I listened to the endo at the beginning of all of this to not touch the lump.. who knows where I would be now....instead of him telling you that you can die from it he should try and figure out to maybe do some other tests or methods to figure out other results and aspects to the core of it all....so my heart is with you and I know how hard it is but I really think you should get a second opinion somehow... he may not be taking it so seriously but this is your life and health and I'm sure you want to live a much healthier one with no burdens along the way.. I always say ... you can't always listen to a dr or other sources.. you and only you knows your body and knows if something is wrong no matter who doesn't believe you... I know I'm probably repeating myself but I feel bad for you...so keep searching and find a dr that can actually help you instead of telling you these things... my heart is with you and you have support on here.. I just joined actually too so I just joined the thyroid community... neway I hope everything works out in the end for you
