There is no permanent cure for hypothyroidism.  Hypothyroidism is treatable with replacement hormones, but there is no cure.

Once you get on replacement meds and adjust your dosage to where you feel good, you might have an easier time with your weight. Inappropriate weight gain is a symptom of being hypothyroid.

Hi,

you have hypothyroid.  This means that your thyroid is not working well.  This could also be the reason for your two miscarriages.

Treatment is by taking thyroid hormone.  This is T4.

Your target TSH is about 1.0.

It will be important to monitor this closely (usually every 6 weeks until you reach target levels - adjusting meds every six weeks), then probably quarterly until sure everything is stable.  if you get pregnant again you will need to be monitored every month and thyroid medicines increased as required to keep the TSH at the target, and FT3 and FT4 at high normal range.

Would be good if you could be monitored by an endocrinologist seeing you want to get pregnant.

HOpe this helps.  Please do mail me if you have additional questions.

Hi my test results are as follows
     FT3=3.21   range: 2.77 - 5.27 pg/ml
     FT4=1.01   range: 0.78 - 2.19 ng/dl
     TSH=19.2  range: 0.46 - 4.68 mlU/L
   And please I would like to know that is there any method of curing the situation permanently as I am feeling very depressed now a days b'coz of this and prefer to know more information for this condition.
Kindly give me the information of diet in this situation and tell me how can I reduce my weight which is about 80Kgs per 5.5inches height.Please give me the solution as soon as possible as we are planning to conceive and its its already late now Thanks for your reply n expect the same further.

Do you have the actual numbers for your T3 and T4 tests and their reference (normal) ranges?  It would be easier to comment after seeing those.
