No-just solid and hypoecho? they did not mention ay calcification at all or vascularity. maybe b/c there was none? not sure. The dr said to calm down and stay off the internet. haha she said all my lymph nodes were normal in my neck. is that a good sign? thanks for responding.
Do you have ay other information from the ultrasound like if there is vascularity or calcifications? Any irregular borders? There is no way to tell from the ultrasound, even an FNA biopsy is inconclusive 40% of the time. And as mamsluv2 says, thyroid cancer is almost always curable depending on the type and stage. I and my sister had nodules and cancer, but my sister-in-law did not, all our nodules had some of the same characteristics. Most of the time they have to take the thyroid out to find out for sure. Keep on it, you will find the answer.
thanks for the response. I am going this week. say a prayer for me.
Hello, even if it is cancer, it is VERY curable! Do you have an appt. for a biopsy scheduled? That would be the best thing for you to do I think. I hope this helps.
