Hypoglycemic

I have hypothyroidism. Recently I have been having headaches, anxiety, depression, skin itching and red skin hives. My blood sugar was tested and I got a count of 37 after a three hour blood sugar test. Does this mean I am hypoglycemic?

Yep, your sugar level was low. I had both 3hr & 5 hr.

My low got to 16, then the second time 44.

All you can do is eat more frequently through out the day.

Was that a glucose tolerance test?  What was the normal range?  What does the 37 signify?  Was that your actual blood sugar level?

Your symptoms indicate that you might need an adjustment in your thyroid medication.  Do you have current lab results on your thyroid levels?  That be, at least, Free T3, Free T4 and TSH.  Please post the reference ranges, along with any results, as the ranges vary from lab to lab, so must come from your own report.

Do you know if you have an autoimmune thyroid disease?  What, if any, thyroid medication do you take, at what dosage?

Sorry to ask so many questions, but we will need more information in order to assess your situation and offer suggestions.
