Hypothyroid with Hyperthyroid Symptoms

I had radioactive treament due to Graves Disease, and six months later my thyroid was declared dead.  I was put on levothyroxin, synthroid and now levoxyl, but 3 months later I still feel awful.  My symptoms are high blood pressure, constant trembling, feeling like I have the flu, dizziness, insomnia.  My last blood test showed a TSH at 3.21, Free T4 at 1.0 and Free T3 at 3.1.  I've also had a million other tests that all show normal as my endocrinologist said that my symptoms are a coincidence to becoming hypothyroid and they were trying to see what else might be making me ill.  I feel it's a combination of being Hypothyroid and the Levoxyl.  Is there a chance that I'm just not tolerating the Levoxyl?

I agree; life before RAI was tolerable, and then okay for a few months after that, but starting with hypo medication I got the shakes, whacky blood pressure, have acute insomnia, chest pressure, feel dizzy, and have  vertually put my life on hold.  Went out yesterday for the first time in a week and was ready to come home after two hours.  I truly think it's the medication but for some reason can't convince my doctor.

I feel like I'm having a bad reaction to the Levoxyl too. I feel horrible and can barely function since I've been on it. My TSH is supposedly 6.9 right now. I felt better before the RAI back in late September. I thought I was on the path to healing, but I feel like I'm going to die at any time. My heart is acting up more too.

Currently I'm taking 50mcg of Levoxyl; it was uped from 25mcg in November.  As to ranges, this is what I found:
TSH .3 to 3.0
Free T4 .7 to 2.0
Free T3 3.5 to 7.7

I too have Graves Disease and Had RAI in June 2008.
With your TSH at 3.1 you are still classified as Hypo.
Some people have similar symptoms at both ends of the scale ...Hyper and Hypo.
Have you not had a dose change in the 3 months?
Also the T4 med has to be taken at the same time everyday with no food for at least half an to an hour after taking it.
The reason being is the stomach acids take up the T4 med if there is food in the stomach and also a lot goes to the bowel and is excreted.
Thats why they say to take an hour before food.
What are the reference ranges on the FT3 and FT4 as they are different all over the world?
Hope this helps but I too have had Hyper symptoms with Hypo.
Maybe you do need a dose change......I cant really say until you post the ranges.
