My daughter is 13 years old, she is suffering from Hypothyroid TSH goes to 446.70 ulu/ml T3 is normal and T4  1.68ug/dl. she is on homeopathy it comes down and again it goes up.i was looking for home remedy to increase her body immunity.

Your daughter is hypothyroid and needs to be on a prescription medication.  Chinese herbs will not work at this point.  Your daughter will only become sicker as time goes on, and as Sally said "thyroid hormone is critical for developing and learning".

I just saw something on net Thyroid thru chinese herbs just thing of trying for her on green life pharmaceutical llc. let me see. But i am much worried about her. thanks for all your help. i will keep updating you'll.

I contected supplier in India for the herbs he said it is very good and works. if you'll know about it please let me know before i could go ahead.

With these results your daughter definitely needs to be given thryoid medication.  Her T4 if far too low and her TSH is far too high.  Her T3 is on the low side of normal.

Homeopathics are not sufficient in this case.  Would strongly suggest you find out exactly what she is being given.

A conventional doctor may also be necessary if the homeopathic doctor is not giving her prescription thyroid hormone replacement.

Thyroid hormone is critical for development and learning.  Let us know h ow your daughter goes.

yes doctor has checked her antibodies. and it was normal. her T3 1.4 reference range was 1.0 - 2.8
T4 - 26.1 reference range was 60 - 160

her Antibody was <10.0 reference was <40

If your daughter is hypothyroid, she needs to be on a prescription medication that will supplement what her thyroid is not producing.

You said her T3 is "normal" - what is the actual level, with reference range, and is that "free" or "total".  Same for the T4 - is that free or total and what is the reference range?

Has your daughter been tested for antibodies that would indicate Hashimoto's? If not, she needs to be.

I dont know he gives some powder and pills for the body to make hormones.

"body immunity"  - cut soy, soda pop, sugar, limit unnatural processed foods, eat better.

But - the above will not improve thyroid levels if you have Hashi - it wont keep the hormone levels in your bodies 'preferred' range.

At the start of Hashi many experience a 'roller coaster' of levels. Its difficult, but you need thyroid med with Hashi.

Just 'in range' means nothing as many of us have found out. Many need FT3 in the upper part of the range, or at least higher than FT4.
