can thyroid anti-bodies affect the heart-rate

i get bouts of thyroiditis and i know i have thyroid anti bodies not sure which ones i know i should but can they affect the heart rate if they affect thyroid function because i also suffer from pvcs and slight increases in hr and both of these things seemed to have started together

any info would be grateful

A good question, and a hard one.
I have read a lot about antibodies, but I don't remember ever reading that they can directly affect your metabolism or cause symptoms. But then we're talking about MY memory. LOL!!

On the other and, people on the board often contribute symptoms to high antibody levels rather than hormone levels, so there may be something to it.
