Stitch Abscess ruptured last night ....

It feels better but lymph nodes hurt more this AM ... ahhhhh ... it is supposed to snow/sleet tonight and my appt with surgeon for 1 week followup is tomorrow morning .... doesn't it always work that way?  It definitely was an abscess by what came out .. trust me on this!

He said he would lance it if it opened up again .. you can see a small hole where it drained itself but I wonder as the wound looks really nice now w/o swelling and pain but surrounding lymph glands hurt like heck and a new one this AM hurts.

I know nobody really has an answer but just wanted to update you all on this.

I was in an indoor pool for 2 hrs in very hot steamy air and I bet that is what caused it to open up YIPPEE .. hot warm compress just by being there for 2 hrs sitting in a chair as my kids swam inside .. I didn't go in the water.

Not so sure about the quickly resolving portion of this ordeal.  Yes, this monster has opened up .......... I thought I said goodbye to one demon in January (nodules) LOL :0

I'm glad that the nasty little moster finally blew up.  I hope that your surgeon can get this resolved and quickly!
