Increasing TSH, even on Synthroid

Since I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's (my anti-bodies were 175), I have not felt great.  I have been taking Synthroid (have also been on Levoxyl) 50mcg daily, and I went to the Dr's because I thought my TSH was too low, because of the constant heat intolerance/hot flashes- but my TSH was 15!! So now my Dr. told me to start taking 100mcg daily.  I read somewhere that people with Hashi's can also have heat intolerance as well as cold, is this true?  Because it sure has been happening to me, and now that my TSH is higher, I am having more heat intolerance/hot flashes, carpal tunnel, and fatigue. I do not know what my anti-bodies are now, probably won't make a difference.

I addressed your issue in your other post........ but would like to add

It's correct that generics and brand names may not be created equal......... some actually do better on generic than on brands....... I was one who did.

You can fluctuate between hypo and hyper. A good website to look into is www.*********************.com

You probably need more than what Synthroid provides. P.S. - You mentioned you were on Levoxyl--if you change meds to/from Synthroid, do so only under supervision of your doctor. It's not like a lot of generics/brand names where you can switch back and forth. They are NOT equal.
