AST and ALT are not thyroid tests, they are liver tests. Labs use different reference ranges, but if I remember MY lab's reference ranges, those results would be low to low normal. Did they do a Free T4 or Free T3? Those are the thyroid tests. She should also be tested for thyroid antibodies.
With a B12 level of only 126 - I'd say that could be the biggest part of her fatigue right there. Did her doctor start her on shots? According to my doctor "normal" B12 levels are between 200 and 1100 - mine were about 275 and he dx'd pernicious anemia, which is where the body does not absorb vitamin B12 from food or vitamin pills. I was started on B12 shots - one/week for 3 weeks, then one/month for the rest of my life; it turned out that one/month is not enough for me, so I do one every 2 weeks. Talk to your doctor about that - she definitely needs help there. If pernicious anemia is allowed to go unchecked it can cause peripheral neuropathy - tingling, burning, numbness, etc in the feet, legs, hands, etc. I went undiagnosed for so long that I now have permanent nerve damage. Pernicious anemia caused me to be just totally exhausted all the time..........
If you have a copy of the lab report, why not post the test results for the tests that were done, along with the lab's reference ranges, then members can make more specific comments.
