Is a multivitamin wthat has iodine(sea kelp)100% bad to take with thyroid medications?

I'm hashi's hypo and take Levoxyl 75mcg. I am wondering if my multivitamin that contains iodine(as sea kelp) at 100% dv OK to take with thyroid pills? I had asked my endo what supplements to stay away from and he mentioned the iron etc. but I noticed on here some say to avoid kelp. Is it ok to still take my multivitamin with my thyroid meds? Could it mess up my levels?

Sorry, I forgot to add that I have hashimotos after very high antibodies detected and currently take 50mcg of thyroxine.

When you say some people react badly to iodine or iron, what is the usual reaction please? I take both iron supplements and kelp as supplements in my bid to get pregnant. I had not realised there would be any adverse effects.

Thanks for letting me know. I think I'm going to seek out a iodine/kelp free multi.

It has to do with consistancy.....if you always take this vitamin, then your meds will be adjusted properly. Some people react badly to the kelp or iodine when they have Hashimoto's and can't take it. I am one who stays away from it while I am still in destruction phase of the thyroid.
