Is it a sin to feel this great

Hello Everyone with Thyroid !!!!!
Just had my blood work done an here it is. TSH 0.56 Lab Range  ( 0.34-5.60 ) FT4 is 0.63 Lab Range ( 0.58-1.64 ) TOTAL T3 is 1.2 Lab Range ( 0.9-2.1 )
Needless to say, I FEEL GOOD.  I now know what other thyroid patients meant when they would say after gtting well again, that it was like an out of body ordeal. With each passing day, I feel like ME Again.
I can not say THANK YOU ENOUGH. When I first found this site I was so very sick, and in here  found as much "If not more help than most of my doctors. I do not take all of my Doctors advice. ** If He Only Knew**  If I did , I would be so Hypo that getting out of bed would be a real ordeal.
My Endo as you can see from the Lab Range is using the Old Range!!!  Any TSH over a 3. is Hypo. So I took matters into my hands and instead of taking 7.5 MG of Methimazole a day, I took a half of a half 1/4 of MG everyday. So far, so good.  Hope I can continue to treat myself with as little Meds as I can and using Natural ways * Diet, Exercise, Etc. to get really healthy. Pumping my immune system with all sorts of good things, Flax, cod liver oil, Amino Acids and also of late I have been eating foods rich in Copper and Magnesium and have noticed afterwards feeling really great.  My hair, nails and skin look so healthy now.  If it was not for the eyes, well, I would be in real good shape now.  They have greatly improved but it is a slow process.  They dry easy, and are red most of the time and still swollen , only not as bad.  Ever watched Criminal Minds?  Just about every Male on this show has Graves Eye Disease, it's shocking to see so many individuals with this.  It must be something in our modern diet. To many chemicals in our daily diet.  Keep it fresh and Natural. HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO EVERYONE FROM AND IN MEDHELP.  You Helped me keep my mind during the darkest moments of my life.

I'm very happy to hear that you are doing so well.  It's so refreshing to see someone come out on top of a thyroid issue.

I do hope you won't be to disappointed to know that while thyroid issues can be controlled with the proper care, there is no cure for them.

Best of luck to both, you and your mother.

I agree that many would not feel good with their numbers were mine are. However, having been Hyper for over 20 years prior to Diagnosis and taking RAI and being made severely Hypo to my thyroid coming back , on it's own.  I find if my T3 gets above or near 2 I am depressed , brain fog and my visual acuity is greatly hampered.
I sleep well at these levels and wake up dancing with the energy I had in my 20's.  No joint pain, no cramping.  My goal is to control my Graves Disease through Natural Ways.  I believe strongly that it can be controlled with 1) Good Sleep 2) All Natural Food Diet 3) Keep Stress in Check 4) Plenty of Fresh Water 5) Prayer 6) Exercise 7) Supplement , and if needed , replacement hormones... of course natural ones not synthetic. I am OBSESSED with a cure for this most dreadful disease. Through all my long hours of study there is one factor that keeps coming to the forefront and that is ** STRESS** being a trigger.  Limiting stress is Key to healing.  My Mother also has Graves and I was shocked to see her just blindly take her Doctors advice, never questioning him. His office NEVER called to even tall her what her levels were. I ponder how many thyroid sufferers are like this?  She has been made Hypo for heaven knows how long and for who's benifit? Certainly not hers. Now she is sick and battling Lung Cancer. She is fighting a good fight and last xray shows actual improvement.  I control her thyroid meds according to what her levels are and have her on high dose's of Turmeric .  If it was not for the leg cramps she gets, not from being Hypo but from low potassium caused from taking a diuretic for over 20 years with her BP meds. Doc's never tell us about that, yet they know it will eventually deplete our potassium to sometimes dangerous levels!!!  All one needs is something as simple as Dandelion supplement as a healthy and natural diuretic.  Inflammation is actually the killer of us all, in some form or another. Keeping i in check and through natural means , instead of being a medical expeirement for BIG PHARMA then waiting to join the televised commercial for the class action lawsuit is not a place one should find themselves for seeking care from a so called conventional doctor who is often having their student loans PAID from , you got it, BIG PHARMA.  I am no fan of traditional care as it is practiced today. I only Thank GOD I  learned this with something like "Thyroid" .  Keep it real, but most important, keep it natural. I wish everyone Good Health and true peace of mind,
Thanks stella for your response and I wish the best for you .

excellent news. I am happy to hear you feel well.

Keep learning on how to correct your issues. Knowledge of this ordeal works wonders.

It is a blessing to find your health - not sin. Its a treasure.

Even though your labs aren't a perfect match for many in the scale, this disease is a person to person basis on where they need to be to feel the best. One thing that is a concern is looking at your total T3 lab. Please make sure when tracking your labs to follow the Free T3 and not total. Its a direct hormone with looking at the free and what you have ran is looking only at the stored hormone that doesn't release.
