L-carnitine & hypothyroidism

Does L-caritine help or hurt hypothyroidism?

No L-Carnitine lower thyroid function. So if you have hypothyroidism taking L-Carnitine in supplements may cause some side effects. L-Carnitine is to treat Hyperthyroidism not Hypothyroidism.

L-CARITINE  is a fat transport amino acid...and should have no affect..its used to help transport fat out of fat cells to help use fat for energy..good stuff..I use 1,000mg before my workouts..
