Thank you for your answer. But what do you do for your muscle cramps besides suffer.
Thank you for answering my problem with muscle cramps. I take .75mg of levothyroxine and my TSH level is 1.19 reference range 0.40-4.50mi U/L.
I was also taking 5mg of Simvastatin, Uloric 40mg, amlodipine besylate 2.5, which I went off of 2 weeks ago but still get muscle cramps. I take 800mg of magnesium and 4000units of vitamin D.
I suffer with these cramps but the most debilitating ones are in my groin area. For 8 months I was cramp free and then all of a sudden they returned. I took myself off every thing except levothyroxine.
thank you again.
For some people like me, hypo or hyper causes muscle cramps.
Synthroid won't cause it, but being hypo can.
Please post your most current thyroid blood tests, so we can better assess your situation. Be sure to include reference ranges, which vary lab to lab and have to come from your own report.
Also be sure to let us know what dose Synthroid you are on, and how long you've been on it.
