you go to the grocery store and try to decide if buying the generic or "heavy duty" Reynold's wrap would make a better tin foil hat! It takes minutes standing there b/c you fight with the cheap side of you to buy generic - but decide to treat yourself to the "name brand" just because................ and you forget what other groceries you went there for.

OK - when................. you go to Walgreen's to pick up your meds and you spot a great sale on the panty hose you and a co worker love..................... you buy 10 pairs and are thrilled of the great bargain you found........... Proudly, you hand your friend and coworker a bunch of them and say........... I got these for you and she looks at you in disgust............... she wears a size "B" and the sale was on size "Q2". DUHHHHHHOOOO.

...you meet another thyroid patient at the grocery store and spend the next half hour (while blessedly unaware the two of you are blocking traffic) talking about diagnoses, testing, treatments, and goitrogens.

... it takes you three tries to get to the bank because you keep missing the turn.

... you can't remember if you were making a tinfoil hat or a paper hat (or how to make either) so you end up sitting there with a piece of foil going "ooooooh.. Shiny!".

when you know...... that you buy the Reynold's Quick Release brand .. bag the generic and the regular type .. you want to get that hat off fast if need-be !!!!!  (quick release .. yeah!!!).
