Link between thyroid and re-occurring ovarian cysts and re-occurring chest pain?

I have been having several health issues (since 11/2006) as follows:
Severe pelvic pain with several ovarian cysts, one 6cm hemmorhagic on left ovary in 4/2007, several other smaller fluid filled ones, re-occurr and resolve in about a month while using Nuva Ring. Bloating, inflammation, gas, constipation to diarrhea. 1/2007 severe hair loss, so much so that my newly changed bed linens were coated with hair by morning. Hair loss continues but lessened. Constriction in neck, more so on right side. Re-occurring chest pain, non cardiac, just prior to menstruation that increases heart rate and blood pressure. Most symptoms worsen prior to menstruation.

History: Fatigue. No menstruation without Birth control meds. Overweight and gaining more. Dark coarse facial hair on chin for last 20 years. 1 child under 7 lbs 1984, 1-10lb child 1988, and 1- 8lb child (1 month premature)1995. One abnormal thyroid T4 about 10 years ago. High blood pressure, high cholesterol, skin tags under arms, very dark skin inside of thighs. Possible blood sugar abnormalities which I avoid very low levels by not eating sugary foods. 3 colon polyps removed, otherwise healthy colon. Hiatal hernia.

Finally found Endocrinologist and new gynocologist. Endocrinologist did thyroid u/s, results not back yet. Did several thyroid blood tests and only one thyroid level test was elevated. May be due to use of Nuva Ring. DHEA level low. Lipids are always low for years. Red blood cells always low for years also even with multivitamin with iron.

What to look for with these symptoms?

What test results will show how to handle these symptoms?

Will I mess up any test results by beginning progesterone cream treatment and DHEA supplements?

Any birth control will bring on an offset of whacky Thyroid levels. that is very known.

You need to have TSH FreeT3 Reverse T3 and Free T4 to really now what is the problem
a cortisol level may be helpful too.

Controversial with the progestrone cream - I believe there can be problems - but have others say no. I advise to stay off of anything new like that until you get regulated and know for sure where you are with your thyroid situation.

Hello and welcome to this great community!  I am only on for a few mins . but if you do a search in the archives using the name DLA and look thru her posts on the thyroid community, she was kind enough to help out another poster with GYN problems assoc with thyroid ... LMK if you cannot find it ... I will search for you and send you the link when I am online with more time .. or you can search for ovary pain, etc. and see if the link comes up .. it was just this week .. about 3 days ago I think!
