Low Thyriod Function And Prilosec And Prednisone

Hey There. I Have Been Up And Down For A Year With My Levels. It Seems My Levels Become More Hypo More Often. Recently My Doctor Put Me On Prilosec And Prednisone. My Levels Were Already Too Low. At The Same Time He Raised Me From 100 To 112 MCGs. Now That Im Off The Pred I Still Feel Like Im Cold All The Time And My Levels Got Worse On The Meds. Will They Start To Fix Themselves Now Im Off The Prednisone. Ive Been Off For Two Days. And Im Still Taking Prilosec. I Just Want To Find Out If There Is A Light At The End Of This Crappy Thyroid Roller Coaster Ride. Also I Was Wondering Why Im The Only Person On The Planet That Gets Very Bad Stomach Problems When My Thyroid Is Out. Resulting In Weight Loss Not Gain............Please If You Can Shed Any Light On This.My Doctor Is A Family Doc And Knows Nothing About Internal Medicine Or Endo.   Thanks BOB

my stomach goes up and down all the time i mean like i am six mounth gone and i have been on levoth since 09 but it seems to be the filler in the tabs that effect me i have changed manufactors so many times and found thats some bloat my stomach more than others so you just have to play around untill one suite you and make sure you live a good gap before you take it like they say a few hour but in fact 4 hour works better  for me so i wake up at 5am take my pills then try to got back to sleep but wont even have tea just a pint of water sad but its seems to be helping are you having any other symtoms hope you find your way it a long journey but like gimel said there is light at the end of the tunel and this forums helps with me so keep posting i am sure you will get some feedback Nat.

Believe me you're not the only one to have stomach problems due to thyroid, and there is a light at the end of the tunnel.  You just have to get the proper testing done and your meds adjusted to the right level.  Let's start by looking at your thyroid test results.

Please post results and reference ranges from any thyroid testing that has been done, so that members can provide the best response.
