Medication Dosage

My TSH came back at .11.  Do they increase or decrease the dose of levothyroxine to get it to the right level?  I had my thyroid removed a year ago because of a multi-nodular goiter and I haven't had a normal level since.  I am wondering if my doctor is doing this right.  He is not an endoctrinoligist and I thinik perhaps I should find one to get this straighened out.  My muscles hurt 24/7 and so far no one seems to be able to figure it out.  He has me on 100mcg 6 days a week now in stead of 7.  I think I need a change of doctors.  What do you think?  Can someone help me out?     LouieH

If there is nothing on the paper then most likely you weren't given those labs.

Hi Stella,
Seems like they did'nt put them on the paper that I have.  I will find out tomorrow as I have to see the doc and let you know.  Thanks for answering.  I really don't know much about this but am learning.   Louie

Instead of looking at just the TSH - can you share what your FT3 and FT4 levels are at?
