Sounds like you need an increase in your T3 med. A good thyroid doctor will treat a hypo patient clinically by testing and adjusting Free T3 and Free T4 as necessary to relieve symptoms, without being constrained by resultant TSH levels. You can get some good insight into clinical treatment from this letter written by a good thyroid doctor for patients that he sometimes consults with after initial tests and evaluation. The letter is then sent to the participating doctor of the patient to help guide treatment. In the letter, please note the statement, "the ultimate criterion for dose adjustment must always be the clinical response of the patient."

In addition, I urge you to get tested for Vitamin D, B12, and ferritin. Many hypo patients are too low in the ranges for all three of those, resulting in some hypo like symptoms and also inadequate metabolizing of thyroid hormone. If you will get those done and post results and ranges, members will be glad to advise further.
I still get tired during the day and by 8:00 PM I am ready for bed. I am losing my hair but not sure if that is from the meds. I gained about 20 pounds just since starting Synthroid and even though I go to the gym I can't lose it. Very frustrating.
Dosing a hypo patient should not be based on test results alone. Much more important is how you are feeling. Please tell us about any symptoms you are having.
Also, have you been tested for Vitamin D, B12 and ferritin. If so, please post results and their reference ranges shown on the lab report.
