I will look forward to seeing some of the other test results.
Thanks a lot for help me on this subject.
I will check my tests about these levels (Ferritin, b-12, magnesium, Vitamin D) and post it here.
Okay, thank you for verifying that FT3 range... it looks really odd compared to what we, typically see.
Your FT4 level is at 53% of its range and rule of thumb (where most of us feel best) is for it to be around mid range, so you're good there. Your FT3 is at 60% of its range and rule of thumb is for it to be in the upper half to upper third of its range. You do have some "wiggle room" there if you wanted to try a small dose of T3 medication such as cytomel to bring up your FT3 level, but I don't think you want to increase your levo dose because that will also raise your FT4, which right where you need it.
Looking at your labs, I don't think your nerve burning and pain is thyroid related, which is why I asked previously about other tests vitamin and mineral tests you've had done, as some vitamin deficiencies can cause this type of of burning pain. Just because a result falls within a reference range does not mean it's perfect or excellent.
If you'll please post some of those results with ranges, that would be helpful. I'm specifically looking for iron, ferritin, vitamin B-12, magnesium (if you had that done), vitamin D.
Thanks by your answer.
The FT3 range is:
0.20 - 0.40 ng/dL
Please check the reference range for the Free T3... the one you have listed doesn't look right.
Also please tell us what the actual levels are for your iron and other vitamins... just because they are within a reference range doesn't mean they are excellent.
Can someone help me on that subject, please?
