This isnt very clear...........you seen a commercial that said synthroid causes depression?
When people feel better on Armour, or something better like Erfa, compared to Synthroid, its because of what Synthroid doesn't have in it - T3.
Switched to Armour after 4 years on levo/synthroid and after gaining 30 pounds and having symptoms of depression the last 6 months. Was never depressed before and after watching a commercial for a drug cautioning about depression symptoms I realized mine might be related to the drug and confirmed it on the internet linked to levothyroxine. Went off it immed. and switched to Armour in summer 2010 and feel great - energetic, upbeat and positive and my normal weight is returning. So glad for Armour!
No there is a stall in supplying the med right now.
It's pretty tight lipped too.
I moved directly over to Naturethroid now - so I have no issue with ready the right grains I need.
Just for FYI - Forest Pharmacuticals is the supplier of Armour - I do not know who Western is.
Just went to fill my Armour prescription today at Walmart and the pharmacist told me that they aren't getting their shipments of Armour and he was down to 7 pills. He has complainted to Western but they still aren't sending any Armour. Does anyone know why this is happening, or is it just my pharmacy maybe?
I have contacted them repeatedly and get nothing back. If you read my post regarding the changes w/Armour since Feb 2009. You'll see the response I got from them.
Now just b/c it hasn't worked well for me ( the NEW formula) that doesn't necessarily mean it won't for others - especailly if you swollow the med and use the GI track for absorption. I cannot do it that way, it bothers my stomach still from being knocked down in the past with hypothyroidism.
I am very happy with Naturethroid right now. I feel the best I ever have since I got sick.
basically, under the tongue. A lot of nitrogen tablets are given this was. And vitamin b12 has a sublingual form. It allows the medication to absorbed directly into the bloodstream rather than have to wait for the digestive process.
feeling ignorant here..Have heard the terminology before...what is sublingually?
Thank you for the post, but from others here....they are not very open to recieving complaints. Especially if you talk to them about taking Armour sublingually. They will tell you that the pills are not formulated for sublingual dosaging.
But maybe more complaints in numbers.....???
