probably not the best condition to be in, for major surgery.
hey!, i had a TSH of 60 too. symptoms: generally feeling like crap from sun up till sun down. discomfort bordering on pain [technically 'feeling rotten']. i was anxious and curled up on the couch all day.
not very hungry, but put on weight. skin dryish, hangnails showed up, skin peeling on my heels. diarrhea. slept well, though. too tired to talk. sensitive to breeze. it's very... unpleasant...
Hi,
a TSH means you are very hypothroid and need further testing to define the problem and thyroid medication.
I would think they would want to normalise TSH and thyroid hormone levels prior to surgery. Ability to recover from surgery would surely be compromised if thyroid function is not well regulated.
HOpe this helps. Let us know how you go.
Sorry it is not TSU it is TSH
Sorry it is TSU it is TSH.
I'm not familiar with TSU test. Can you tell me what that is?
