OH Man...

Ok so feeling great until the last couple days pretty tired having a hard time getting up in the morning.  Yesterday started spotting today I think this is the most horrible cycle i have had yet.  I hurt very bad and very tired.  While this is a good sign this is the second since december while on armour and now NT still far apart but better then usual.  So I am getting the feeling that hypo is the cause of ALL my problems which is a nice feeling to know why and what.  But I could sure do with out, what do I do for the next week I don't want to feel horrible.  Any suggestions since it wouldn't help now to increase meds for the fatigue can it help if your on a regualr cycle to increase a few days before?

The only thing that has come along with this is a headache I have had a headache since the day before day one.  tylenol relieves it for a short period of time.

It seems to be letting up I was able to wake up this morning with out a struggle.  It's not very heavy it was very painful the first day.

So I should not have my labs done today?  This will be day 3.

OK - not good on not getting the free T3 lab here. You are trying to achieve to find the best number there to maintain optimal thyroid function.

and.... you are cycling - which will effect the levels in the beginning....

It's probably not a good idea to test with you are cycling either...

How much desiccated are you on right now?

I have been on bio progesterone in a oral form for a couple months I have not used it for a while its quite expensive and I am not so sure it was working I did not start having cycles the way they told me it would work and since stopping I have had two so I don't know what to think about it.  I do however have an appointment tomorrow hoping this doctor will be great to work with.  I really would prefer to treat based on symptoms instead of numbers so we will see how he feels about that.

I know everyone feels off to a point with that time of the month just wondering if there is any trick to the whole thyroid part to help feel better through it?  And you gotta remember I have only had max 4 periods a year for so many years so I am going to be a big old cry baby about it.  lol

Black Cohosh is more for hot flashes from going through your change. If you have PCOS, have you tried a natural bio identical progesterone cream? Also will help with heavy cycles.
You definately need to have your thyroid labs checked to make sur eyou are on enough med or not too high. :)

its not been very long maybe about a month and half but I have since changed medications so I should probably have them tested again.
0.01 tsh
they did not do free t3 like I requested but total t3 and it is slightly high.
free T4 1.28 (.78-1.85)

But I FEEL Good I feel better then I have in a long time since switching to NT I do credit my current problems to my cycle.  I am also labeled PCOS which I also credit to my thyroid not PCOS because I don't have the insulin resistance part.  And because symptoms are improving since starting natural thyroid.

What about any herbs like black cohosh or something?  I have not read anything about any of these yet.

How long has it been since your last set of labs were done? Where are your levels at?
