OT - My mom's surgery has been scheduled

Question

It's tomorrow, Friday, @ 10:30am.  They drew her blood today but they haven't finished running the tests to see what her platelet count is today.  Regardless the surgeon (after talking to the heme) decided to go ahead with the surgery and they typed & screened her and will have platelets waiting for her in the OR if she needs them.  Thank you all for continuing to remember her in your prayers.  She broke down in tears saying "don't let anyone ever tell you prayer doesn't work" after we got the good news that my father's bladder cancer surgery went really well and determined that his cancer was in its very early stages and he would likely be able to beat it.  That was almost 2 years ago and after one more biopsy he'll be declared cured.

here are prayers wining your way, dear...I am so glad to hear about your dad...my sister in law's bladder cancer apparently is not as bad as we thought either....keep you guys posted...she had a biopsy yesterday....
