Yes - did that too!! And you know what? Their kids are going to think they're losers too, because technology doesn't seem to stop.
Boy, that just doesn't sound like the right words! Sorry Barbarbarbara
Yep. Whole tapes!!! My kids would think we're such losers!!! ROFLMBO!!!! Did you ever take and early camcorder and record the TV? Memories, like the corners of my mind!! LOL
Sure did!! Did you ever get the recorder ready and shove it up to the radio when your favorite song came on? GREAT quality there!!!!
Then they'd be all over the side of the highway!! LMBO Been there, done that!! Oh, shoot!! Too funny. Took a lot of room to record something back then, huh?
Hee hee!! I remember the first car I drove had an 8-track player in it as well. Oh, the good 'ol days, huh? Things seemed simpler then, but I suppose the older generation said that at that time too. And those tapes? Remember how they'd get all wound up in the player, and then they'd be ruined? You'd pull and pull and pull, and there was NO end in site! Then by the time you got done, you had a huge, wrinkled mess. Oh....don't miss those.
Whew, baby! Okay, I thought they were a lot older than that, too. Was thinking like Rolling Stones or Van Halen and their walkers! Used to have a Def Leppard 'tape'! My son thinks that is hilarious. I also have records and a record player. I get it out and use it at Christmas. The kids have finally gotten used to it and quit talking about how big our CD's use to be! Brats! Too bad don't have an old 8-track player. My parents still have some of those! Man, we thought those were the coolest things ever!!!
Oh, excuse me now I have to go get my walker and take my metamucil, sweetie! Am feeling sooooo old right now! Oy.
Yeah, but they're younger than I thought they were. I was thinking they HAD to be in their 50's, but most were born in the 60's - so not yet. And let me tell you what? A couple of those boys had their shirts off while they were doing the concert. Even my boys said "Man.....they're really in shape!". I wiped the drool from my chin and said "mmm..hmmmm"!
Do you wanna get rocked?!?!?!?!!
Oh yeah. I'm an 80's freak! Def Leppard is my absolute favorite though. I have all their CD's and have seen them in concert about 6 times. They STILL look good!! I was amazed, considering the lifestyle.
Well, it's red light, yellow light, green light, GO! Crazy little woman in a one man show! hehehehe
LOVE Def Leppard! Am so jealous! Got the 80's thing goin' on, don't we?
Say, say, oh play mate. Come out and play with me.......

Oh my gosh.....this is what I have to look forward to when I can't sleep? You girls are cracking me right up!! I'm sleeping these days, just sleeping LOUDLY. Everyone in the house closes me in my bedroom with the fan on because I'm so noisy. Never was a snorer, but since surgery it's really BAD!! Three nights after surgery, my 15 year old was sleeping on the floor of the living room with headphones on because I was on the couch and was so loud!! Sure hope THAT goes away. Last night, I woke my own darned self up!! Jeez......guess I'd better "carry on my wayward son". :-)
