PART 2 - Thyroid PATIENT Blunders - POST AWAY

I just couldn't keep this to myself. I hope you enjoy my idiot - stupidness. --- BLONDE moment.  

OK - many of you know I take Armour and I split my dose throughout the day........... 3 x's a day.

Well........... I go to take my last dose............. oh just about 20 minutes ago. Guess what?? My bottle of Xanax from 6 mths ago was right next to my thyroid meds.

Guess what I took??????? -  YEP - not thyroid meds?!?!?!?!?

CRUD!!!!!!!!! - I will be zonked in less than an hour - ON MY LAST DAY OF MY VACATION FROM WORK!!

Oh I feel the "free" feeling already coming on. WOW ........... after not taking them for about 4 mths - IS this what happens when you don't really NEED them for anxiety.    


WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE -  I can't wait to get the supper on the table I slaved over for my family today. Pork chops and taters. and my boss will be calling with instruction to prepare a report and give to hime first thing 6:30 am tomorrow.

Oh Lord - what will I do?? I want to say sh** here - but had to think how to spell it    LOL

Does anyone know how I can expell this out of me before it hits like a ton of bricks. The tablet is only .5 - but for over a year I only took 1/4 of the tablet all day - due to the stress /anxiety levels passing completely for me.

OK -------- any voodoo or potions I can take to stop this slowly of reflexes coming on quickly.

I guess this is MY thyroid blunder ( BIG TIME) since .......... we'll since forever. ( losing my words here people)

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE...........

Yep I crashed about 5:30 last night. I forgot how heavy you feel after one of those.

I know the .5 is not a huge amount - but I think when you really don't need them they really take hold of you. Especiall when I only took a 1/4 tablet once a day if I needed to withing the last few months I used them.

I still am just a bit groggie - but that may be from sleeping like a log.

Oh well, lost the last day of my vacation. nothing I can do now.

I did the crazy thing today sorry got the post late thought i was taking asprin for a presciption for migraine with phenergen only i took aditvan with phenergen so im sorry already had my zzzzz for the day almost hung over feeling  woke up at 5 30 pm and since i get up at 5 30 am i just thought i slept the day and night on the couch and husband was home from work who knew it was still sunday an I do have apill organizer thought i missed all my night meds wow what a scare. Must be a day for craziness

Yep, way too late for the finger down the throat - in fact, no doubt you're sleeping by now and won't read any of this till tomorrow; therefore, I'll just say that I hope you got a really good night's sleep and woke up refreshed!!

Sorry Stella. I'd remind you of those pill organizers they make, but I had to quit using mine because I can't cram all the pills in there anymore.

I can relate to how easy it is to grab the wrong pills though, unfortunately.

Oops forgot....drink heaps of coffee...it counteracts with the xanax and cuts down the strength.

Best thing to get it out of your system is drink heaps of water.

Enjoy the calmness for about an hour and a half but DONT take the Armour (as you already know) until at least 3 hours after the Xanax.
