I have had a persistnt cough since January 15. My blood pressure medication has been adjusted, I have been tested by a pulmonary specialist (mild asthma), a GI specialist has tested me for my level of acid reflux. I do have acid reflux; however, none of the medications and inhalers I have received relieve me from the persistent, daily, productive cough. I do not cough at night when I am lying down. The coughing starts immediately upon arising and contiunues all day until I, again go to bed. I haved been on Synthroid for several years with occasional adjusting upward or downward, depending upon my blood tests. Could there be a connection between the Synthroid and persistent coughing?
