pressure in my ears, foggy/ thyroid nodule found

I have had pressure in my ears accompanied by dizzyness. I had an echocardiogram recently done and they found a small 0.5 cm nudule in the right lobe of my neck.I have an appointment to have a biopsy done but has taken quite some time to get an appointment. I am scared that this could be thyroid cancer as symptoms have gotten worse. Am I overeacting or could this fear be justified. Also, I'd like to know if thyroid can be responsible for the body aches and stomach problems I am aslo experiencing.   Thank you,

Hi Stella,
Thank's for answering my post. What you said was very helpful. I did have a TSH test taken and the doctor( regular medical practitioner) said my levels were normal. Took the same test to an alternative medicine person and she said most regular doctors don't know how to read them and thinks I am hypo . Incidentally the nodule is solid and I will do a biopsy next week. Will keep you updated as to what happens.
Cheers, hankit

You have not posted any of your TSH tests so I can only assume you are hypothyroid... Right?

If so, yes hypothyroid can/ will cause vertigo(dizzy) if your TSH is too high. There is no proof but I also have stomach problems and acid. Bad acid!!

I suffered alot and come to the conclusion this reading a whole bunch of things the when a metobilism slow that cause acid to slow and back up too. I also feel when the body is slow in hypothyroidism the intensines and GI track slow too causing problems for many people. When my TSH goes down and I start to get within the numbers of 1.0-1.5 I see a big change in the acid and GI problems.

As for the nodule - if you could report back the "kind" of nodule it is you may get more feedback. For example is it cystic or solid - you may want this to read
