The uptake and total T's are a waste of money, I agree.
I think the frees are okay.
Vitamin D is low.
Repeating the antibody levels is also not necessary. They may decrease, increase or remain the same. The only thing about the antibody test that means anything is that it is positive. The level doesn't necessarily relate to severity. Everyone will make a different amount of antibodies.
Other than hair loss, do you feel well?
hi if your going to take iron supplements for your ferritin levels you must take them seperate from thyroxine so i assume thats the same for your medication apparently they stop absorbtion and must be at least 2 hours apart im on iron for my hair loss it does help
So kitty.
What do you think of the T's? Frees look OK?
Totals a waste of money?
what about the uptakes?
Your vitamin D3 is low.
Your ferritin (iron) is low.
Your Free T4 and Free T3 are a little low.
Cytomel or Selenium may be beneficial, or not.
A multi-vitamin and some D3 would be a good idea.
Your Ferritin should be up around 90, at least.
Not sure how to go about doing that.
Half those other T4/T3 tests were a waste of money. I don't know why they even run several of them.
You're feeling better on the new doseage. Do you feel great?
Are your hypo symptoms getting better?
I am taking an iron supplement.
I am not anemic, however my endo said it wouldn't hurt to take the iron since my ferritin is only 14.
I take iron bis-glycinate (Ferrochel) which is gentle on the stomach. It has a high absorption rate as well.
I also take it before bed and have no side effects.
thanks for reading and replying...How can you get your ferritin to increase?????
Your ferritin is in range, but still low. Optimum is over 50 for hair growth according to dermatologists.
