Hi everyone, I Had a  Total Thyroidectomy two and half years ago due to nodules.
During the op they cut my vocal cords
i take 100 mg of Oroxine 6 days a week
ever since the op i been so unwell, body aches and pain, inflamation daily on my collar bone, headaches at least 3times per week
done all test necesary, ct scans, etc
been  to my Endo and adjusted the dose, but no change at all.
I was recomended to another Dr and she mentioned that i should try to slowly introduce Bio Identical Hormones, and could be better for me
So my question is; has anyone try Bio Identical H
if so what is your story.
I need to get on with life, i spend day after day with aches and pain.
Pls Help.

I tried Armour (natural desiccated thyroid - contains T4 and T3) but didn't do as well as expected so i switched back to Eutroxsig (synthetic T4). That said, i have cellular issues so i really need more T4 than Armour could give me. Some people do extremely well on Armour however and prefer it to T4.

Tertroxin (synthetic T3) can be added to Oroxine or Eutroxsig as well if you need that extra T3 to help with lingering hypothyroid symptoms.  This is a bit of trial and error to what best relieves hypothyroid symptoms.
