Hi girls!
Thank you for all your great advise. And I did just that, even before I read all your great comments. I DID wash up,( ha ha, I know, regular peeps would be like, "well you do that anyway, don't you?"), threw shorts and a t-shirt on, did a load of laundry, dishes, had leftovers from the day before so didn't have to cook.........watched Legends of the Fall (love Brad Pitt and Anthony Hopkins), and read some magazines. We did take Buddy for a walk through the woods here, but then honey guiltily suggested ice cream, even though we've been REALLY good with our eating habits.....yummy! Ice cream makes me smile!
Feel much better today, because of it. Thank you for responding. I feel like I have this new family with MedHelp. Thank you MedHelp.
Enjoy your weekend!
Days you cant get started, in my opinion it is better to just rest. Curl up with a good movie or book and just take it easy. Your body is telling you to slow down for a reason. Take your time, be kind to yourself and in the longrun you will feel much better for it! :o)
I'm with everyone else, just relax and take care of yourself. I have found when I push myself I feel worse for days. If I rest sometimes the next day I feel better. Like everyone says, "Listen to your body." It knows best. I hope you feel better soon.
There were many times when I was druf induced HYPO where I would sit in my pj's all day before RAI.
Do what you want to do ....dont beat yrself up trying to do the impossible.
Be kind to yourself :o)
I feel your pain. It has been very hot and humid here in Massachusetts and I am miserable. Have had a constant, dull headache for days now. I try to listen to my body and get lots of rest when I am sluggish and tired...which is most of the time. I don't think the hubby understands what it feels like.
Don't beat yourself up. Curl up with Lifetime movies and nap. Sometimes the body and the mind need a break.
