Throid Ultrasound results
I had an ultrasound of my thyroid and it came back as the right lobe being 6.9 x 1.6 x 2.2 cm and the left lobe 5 x 1.5 x 1.8cm and isthmus 8mm in thickness. I have five subcentimeter nodules or cyst also. 3 of them our new since 2006. My throat always hurts and I have a pain in my right ear. All my levels are normal but the doctor doesnt' want to do anything about the other stuff. Does this sound normal? I am a 27 year old female. Also I am tired all the time.
There some aspirin free non-steroidal drugs are also available.
I cannot take aspirin to reduce the pain because I already have blood that is to thin.
If you tested positive for thyroid antibodies, this condition can attribute to the chronic autoimmune inflamation of thyroid. Taking anti-inflamatory medicine (aspirin) may reduce the throat /ear pain. Because of modern trend in the thyroid treatment the doctor will check the TSH level and nodule size every 6 months
