PTU ratio to TSH level
If my TSH level is increasingly elevated, should my PTU dosage be increased or decreased. I am confused by what I am being told, would appreciate information about what the PTU is supposed to accomplish. Thank you for provided answers or resources so I can learn more and understand what is happening to my body.

The purpose of the PTU is to BLOCK the Thyroid and bring the FT4 and FT3 into range and then the TSH will LOWER down into range over a period of time.
If your TSH level is above the range, dont increase PTU but go to see your Doctor for a dosage change.
Are you Hypothyroid or Hyperthyroid?
