Hooray for our "tiara" leader AR!!
I still think he found is vast career here!
That's a poor excuse AR! LOL!
I had to get my blood checked!!
LOL!
Saw your message, pewe, but didn't have time until just now to find the thread and respond. Sorry. :o)
There seems to be some confusion about Internal Messaging(IM), or Private messaging(PM), whichever you prefer to call it.
You don't have to be on the "friends list" to PM someone.(Thanks for the invite, though, pewe.)
You can PM anyone on the board, regardless of whether you are friends or not. You can even PM someone who has not joined the board.
Members' names show up in blue. Non-member names show up in grey. You can send a PM to a non-member if you want to, but you have to type their user name into the "recipient" box, because the forum software will not know who to send it to otherwise.
If you are sending a PM to a member, then you do not have to fill in that box.
Not sure if that makes any sense.
Probably not. LOL!
Hi, If you hold your mouse over the persons name a box will flash up showing various options, one of them is a picture of an envelope and says send AR for example, a message. When you click on it you get a message sheet to fill in. Another way is to click on the person's name and that will take you to their profile page, where again, there are options, such as leave AR a message. Hope this helps. But remember there are time differences for all of us here, so often the person may not see your message for hours or even the next day. As for AR, I promise you he will answer your message if he has received it, if you're not sure, send another one.
My advice to you is --- Add the person to your friends list. Then you can private message your question. Then everytime they log in to Med Help or when they are checking their personal email they will see a message from you.
Have you checked your personal email to see if you have any messages or responses from anybody on MedHelp?
