RAI day one completed!

Hello all, day one completed.  No different feeling noticed.  I worry if I am exposing my family.  I was assured by the doc that they can be close by me without harming them since it was only 30 mci.  I took a long walk with my wife to a beach this morning and really felt good until I had to pee.  hahahaha  Its actually funny, my 9yr old after hearing this came up to my wife and asked her if she remember not to hold my hand.  hahahaha  Kids gotta love them!

I got a call from my endo and told me he forgot to give me a prescription of cytomel and told me to start this on Friday.  I will have a body scan 2 weeks later.  Is this the usual?  I thought you needed to be hypothyroid to do a post RAI scan???

All in all feel great.  I guess I am the exception to the rule.
Cheers,
Scott

You'll still be a bit hypo for the scan - it took me 3 weeks to hit hypo hell then another 6 to climb out of it.

You're fine walking on the beach just don't share any bodily fluids (if ya know what I mean).

Walking on the beach - how nice.  It's 37 degrees in Utah right now and not a beach for hundreds of miles. (Unless you count the Great Salt Lake then we'll all KNOW you are a tourist)  :-)
