Yeah, they explained the machine and what it does to me while they were doing the scan as well. Amazing, isn't it? Thank goodness they know what they're doing!! I couldn't help but think of how thorough they are. I had more scans and tests than I've ever had in my whole 40 years, I swear!!
I'm glad you got something for the nausea. It's awful, isn't it? I let it go for about a week and a half and couldn't stand it anymore. Thank goodness one of my friends at work pushed me to call them, or I probably would have just waited it out. I felt so weak because I wasn't eating or drinking, but I just couldn't! I'm sure that wouldn't have helped me going into the RAI.
You're almost done!! That's great news. I'm sure you're ready to see your kids. I know that would have driven me crazy. Hopefully they'll cut you loose today!

I get my WBS tomorrow and then they are going to run a geiger counter over my neck to see if I'm safe to be around my kids again. They are very intense on the safety issue but I still think the geiger counter idea is kind of funny. I had them call in some zofran today which is helping and I start meds tomorrow.

If it gets bad enough, have them call something in. It's worth it!! How many days left of isolation do you have?
Lori
you know what, I just saw your post on the thread about your niece which just answered my question. So thanks anyway!
