T3-Medication for hypothyroidism.

Hi to all, I would like to ask some info, about regarding T3, medication for hypothyroidism,
what are those brand of T3, med.?  im very curious about it, because i never try that since i was hypothyroidism for 5 yrs. think its gonna work if ever i used to that? like if i change my brand of T4 medication yes expecting there will be a big factor of adjustment maybe couple of months or more before i go back to normal.
i was thinking if im gonna take T3 medication while my T4 medication are still adjusting to a new brand.

my symptoms of hypothyroid some says very rare experiencing an Involuntary muscle movement. and more constipated, well my body easily absorb symptoms of hypothyroidism always.

Im planning to change my medication thyrax to syntroid anytime, worrying  about another adjustment..but if im gonna take T3 medication think It will helps to increase my stamina or avoid symptoms while taking a new brand of T4 medictaon synthroid?

thanks.

Your FT3 is well below the middle of its range, which is frequently associated with having hypo symptoms because the range is far too broad to be functional for many people. Scientific studies have shown that Free T3 correlated best with hypo symptoms, while Free T4 and TSH did not correlate at all.   Many members here say that symptom relief for them required FT3 in the upper third of its range and FT4 around the middle of its range.  So, you should try to get the doctor to add a source of T3 to your meds and then increase as necessary to relieve hypo symptoms.  You should also make sure the doctor always tests you for Free T3 and Free T4 each time you go in for tests.

result---> TSH--0.08 normal values--0.27-3.75
              FT3--3.86 normal values--2.5-5.8

There is a specific brand of T3 called Cytomel.  Then there are generic versions.  Any of them should do the job, if you need T3 added to your meds.

Why are you considering changing your brand of T4 med?

Please post your latest thyroid related test results and their reference ranges shown on the lab report so that members can better assess the adequacy of your testing and treatment.
