Referred to ENT

Saw my primary today. Have had a painless lump in my neck for over 5 weeks. He's referred me to an ENT because he can't determine if it's salivary or lymph node, but he noticed some at the back of my neck that I didn't, and he also couldn't tell if the ones behind my collarbone were swollen or if it's tendons. He also ordered a CT of head, neck and chest. He told me with my history and family history it could be lymphoma.
ENT is tomorrow, CT is Friday.
This "garbage" never ends does it?

CT's were clean. No lymph enlargement. They did discover a cyst on my liver, not to worrisome, and some thickening on my esophageous so I have to stay vigilant on treating my heartburn, but other than that, alls well.

Well, in the very short time with the ENT - he put a scope through my nose and down my throat, poked, pinched and squeezed the front only of my neck and said, "I don't see any reason you need a CT scan, but if it makes you feel better, get it done. Good bye and have a nice day." Walked out the door and that was it.
Something else about an enlarged submandibular gland, dropping due to age, etc.

I'm going for the CT scans in the morning. It doesn't just enlarge like that overnight, and he never felt for the rest of the nodes my primary felt. He didn't even ask me if it hurts when I eat, or swells when I eat... nothing! I don't think he even looked at his notes about it from my primary! The right side of my neck is larger than the left and there are a few random lumps. I've had pain behind my collarbones for a while now. I'd just rather play it safe so I'm going to get the scans.

I have also been refferred to an ENT Surgeon (next week) due to blocked saliva glands under the tongue.

Good Luck.
