Relay for Life

Hello again! Just wanted to let you all know I am doing Relay for Life again this weekend. This will be my 2nd one
this month! I think maybe I found something that takes my mind off of my own worries, and helps others in the
process. I'm going to try becoming more involved with the American Cancer Society, however they need me.

Well, I did it! My second Relay for Life.. survivor walk, talked to a coworker about joining the board of the ACS, she's already a member. Oh yea, I decided about a month or so ago that I would like to donate my hair to Locks of Love. Luckily, the lady who cut my hair for years was the one giving her time to cut and collect the hair. So, now my hair is 10 inches shorter and about 3 pounds lighter! I love the new look and I'm so happy  to help others feel more confident when their own hair is lost due to treatment.

I had a great time, camped out in my little tent, spent a lot of time with some great people. I am changing my default picture to my new look. Hope everybody had a great weekend!

Good luck Terri. We just had our Relay for Life about 6 weeks ago. It took place at the local university, and the kids raises about $70,000.00.Impressive for a school with fewer than 4000 students. I did the survivor walk.
